Privacy
This site is run by Ahmed Sari, a creative director in the UAE. If you have a question about your data, write to hello@ahmedsari.com.
The short version
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It counts visits without knowing who you are. Your email reaches me only if you write to me, book a call, download something or buy something.
Visit statistics
Page visits are counted with Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies, collects no personal identifiers, and identifies a visit by a code made from the request that is discarded after 24 hours. For each page view it records the page address, the site you came from, an approximate location (country, region, city), your device type, operating system and browser. I see only totals.
When you write to me
Emails to hello@ahmedsari.com arrive in my Google Workspace mailbox. I use them only to reply to you.
Downloads and purchases
Free resources and paid products are delivered through Lemon Squeezy, which sells them as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects what it needs to deliver the file and, for paid products, to take payment and charge tax: your email, name and billing country, and your payment details. Your payment details never reach me. I receive your name, email and what you ordered. Lemon Squeezy’s own privacy policy applies to the checkout.
The newsletter
If you agree to hear from me when you download or buy something, your email joins my newsletter list, sent about once a month through Kit. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Booking a call
Calls are booked through a Google Calendar booking page. Google handles your name, email and the time you pick, and I see them in my calendar.
Talking to the machine
The “Talk to the machine” chat on the home page sends what you type to a service running on Cloudflare, which writes IVANOV’s reply. Conversations may be stored so I can read them. Please don’t type anything personal.
Things loaded from other services
- Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers.
- Some project pages play videos from YouTube or Vimeo, which apply their own policies.
- Links to my social profiles take you to those platforms, which apply their own policies.
How long I keep things
I keep emails and order details only as long as I need them for the work and as the law requires. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, by writing to hello@ahmedsari.com. You can leave the newsletter at any time from any email.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
